Control Feedback

Turn Feedback Into Efficiency

The Control Feedback Lineup

Control Cabinet

The heart of the ETA Series sand control system is the main control panel. The control panel takes the information given from the sand tester and return sand probes to accurately determine how much water needs to be added to the mixing process. For models with green strength and moisture testing capabilities, the control panel can also control bentonite addition based on available bond requirements. We custom build these panels to fit the customer's needs whether it is just basic sand mixer controls, or more complex systems that integrate cooler controls, conveyor/elevator controls, and additive handling. The PLC's used in these panels can either be the Allen Bradley Micrologix or Compact Logix. The touch screens available are the Schneider Harmony series HMI's or the Allen Bradley Panelview Plus 7 HMI

ETA 3000

The ETA 3000 is a remote machine that automatically measures the compatibility level of prepared sand. This is a fully assembled unit complete with linear transducers, air pressure transducers, air pressure control card, air cylinders, solenoids, valves, moisture probe, and electronic components for measuring compactibility, green strength, and moisture pre-assembled on ETA machine. This also includes PLC logic for displaying green strength, moisture, and ability to control bentonite additions automatically against available bond measurements, working bond measurements, or green strength measurement.

Water Panel

Our water panels are pre-configured for precise water flow control, including valves, regulators, and meters. This eliminates the need for manual setup and ensures consistent mixing quality. We offer a range of panel sizes to accommodate the specific needs of any operation. For batch systems, we have panels available in pipe sizes from 3/4" to 2". Continuous systems can choose from either 1/2" or 1" pipe sizes.

Weigh Hopper Probes

An integral part of the ETA series control system is the conductivity and temperature probes placed in the stream of return sand entering the mixer. These probes provide vital feedforward information  (temperature, moisture) to the main control panel to determine the water needed as the sand enters the mixer. In batch processes, these probes are placed in the weigh batch hopper. In continuous systems, the probes are placed on the conveyor belt or plate feeder right before the mixer.
